PDF LENS is a document scanner and PDF toolbox for iPhone. Your documents are processed on your device. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

Your documents

Scans, photos, PDFs and converted files are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Scanning, text recognition (OCR), conversion, compression, merging and signing are performed on your device. Your documents are not uploaded to us or to any third party, and we cannot see them.

Camera, photos and files

• Camera is used only to scan documents, QR codes and business cards inside the app.
• Photos and files are accessed only when you choose them with the system pickers. The app does not read your photo library on its own.
• Contacts are written to only if you choose to save a scanned business card.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → PDF LENS.

Information collected automatically

To run subscriptions and improve the app, we process a limited amount of technical data that is not linked to your documents:

• Device identifier and app usage events (for example, that the paywall was shown or a plan was selected), used for app functionality and analytics.
• Purchase information (subscription status and transactions), processed by Apple and our subscription provider Adapty to unlock premium features and restore purchases.
• Push notification token, if you allow notifications.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or advertising identifier, do not use third-party advertising and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell personal data.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

Children

PDF LENS is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Deleting your data

Delete documents inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. To ask us to delete technical data linked to your device identifier, write to support@pdflens.click.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
